Bangladesh based Startup Speaklar proudly announced the English speaking practice App. The innovating app helps users to become fluent in English by improving four basic skills of learning English, which are reading, listening, speaking & writing.
Within a year of it’s launch in April 2018, the startup has reached more than 2 Million mobile users (Android + IOS) around the world. It is among the 10 hottest Bangladeshi Apps to watch in 2019 according to a post in Medium. The startup is expecting to reach 100 Million users by 2022.
The startup help people to learn English as their second language. The way speaklar works is very easy. A person needs to install the app on their mobile and start using it. There is no need to use phone number or photo to register to the system. It will automatically pair him to an English native that uses the app. The conversation will not only help speak English better but will also boost confidence of the user.
Speaklar is founded by Munzur ul Mamun who has also worked as a product manager in a reputed company. However, to make his dream come true, he quit his job and started Speaklar. “I help people to feel confident in speaking another language, even if they’ve only just started learning. My mission in life is giving people permission to make mistakes. The more mistakes you make, the faster you become a confident language learner,” said the ceo of Speaklar, Munzur ul Mamun.
